What made you start boxing?
My father used to be an amateur boxer when he was youger and there were many trophies he got in our house, so it was natural that I felt like doing it. When I was in the 5th grade I asked him to let me do boxing, but he didn’t allow me that time. So I asked him again 2 years later and I started boxing and training together with him in the narrow corridor of our house.
What is the attractive point of boxing?
Boxing is an individual sport so the boxer is alone on the ring in the match, but many people are united in order to support the boxer toward the match which is one of its wonderful aspects.
You might have an impression that boxing is lonely and hard, but actually many people are involved and the boxer cannot win the title without their strong supports, which means boxing is a group sport.
What are your goals for the future?
I lost the title in the recent defense match. So I will win another title in different weight divisions.
